Better later than never

This blog should have started a long time ago, the kids are starting to grow up and so many things they have said are long forgotten. So instead of looking back to see what ground we have traveled and living life in the rear view, lets start with where we are now and go from there.

Max is a big boy, and size 5 diapers aren't cheap! This weekend my goal has been to work with him a little better with more dedication and patience on this lovely stepping stone in life. So far we have had 5 accidents, and its only 935 in the morning. 3 pees and 2 poops, lovely. I wasn't mad about any of them except for this last one where he basically stood up and peed on the floor and didn't move or anything, just LAUGHED! My punishment, no Diego undies this time. Even though he had been doing pretty well with the going pee in the potty he has been changing his undies every time! Right before the last accident I heard him run back to his room and start singing the Diego theme song.

So working on mission one, now for mission two that is also in progress. Mission two is working with our 8 week old puppy that is insanely nippy and bites non stop. This training has been stressful because absolutely nothing has been working, today I have had some minor progress, but I stress minor. Kayla is making it a little more difficult to work with the puppy. The puppy will finally be laying down trying to rest and then Kayla will run over and pick her up squeezing her as she hugs her neck. Lucky does not like this, so she will of course bite right at Kayla's face. Kayla is over 3 and almost 4 now, and yet Max is not the one we ending up worrying about being alone with the dog, its Kayla! I am hoping we can get this puppy to respond, because otherwise she will not be staying with us, we cannot keep a dog that bites at children, especially their faces. We are going to talk to the Vet and then 10 weeks we will try obedience training as the final straw.

Right now I am procrastinating on the millions of things I need to do today such as; laundry, cleaning, and school work. This will be a common theme throughout this blog.
